1	If you are an existing user or have received the invitation email to participate, you can skip this step. Set at least one price alert on the products you want to buy using our front page or the "Save to My Shopping Notes" button. You will receive an invitation to participate in our Friend Referral Program by email, subject to availability.
2	Sign in to your account and use any of the methods listed here to tell your friends about ShoppingNotes.com. Be sure to use the links on that page so your referrals can get credited.
3	For each friend who follows your links and sets at least one price alert, we will credit US$1 to your account, upon validation of the data entered. Once your credit balance (total credit gained minus total credit redeemed) reaches US$10 and your total credit gained is not over US$100, we will send you an email with instruction on how to redeem your credit for gift cards. You can choose among Amazon, Target, or just any electronic gift cards you can find on line. You can also choose to accumulate your credit to redeem for gift cards of higher amounts, as long as you can find such electronic gift cards on line. In most cases, we will deliver your electronic gift cards by email. In some cases, however, we may choose to deliver gift cards to your physical address for further verification. In those cases, we will ask for your mailing address.

• You must be at least 18 years of age or the minimum eligible age required by your local law to participate in this Program.


• Your referral will NOT be counted if:
  
  
  • Your friend accesses ShoppingNotes.com from a location outside the United States;
  
  
  • Your friend does not set a price alert on any valid product page (for example, http://www.amazon.com is NOT a product page)
  
  
  • Your friend turns off browser cookie or other functions necessary to track your referral; or
  
  
  • Your friend follows someone else's referral links to set a price alert after he or she followed your referral links (only the last referral link he or she clicks on before setting a price alert will be credited)


• You shall NOT engage in any incentivized, suspicious, spammy, scammy, fraudulent, or deceptive activities, including but not limited to:
  
  
  • Using more than one email address or identity to refer friends;
  
  
  • Using temporary, unused, disposable, or fake email addresses to refer friends;
  
  
  • Using your other email address or fake identity to follow your own referral links and set price alerts to get referral credit;
  
  
  • Providing any forms of direct or indirect incentives or compensation to the people you refer, for example, splitting the referral rewards, lottery, etc.;
  
  
  • Sending unsolicited emails or spamming forums, chat rooms, etc.; or

• By participating in this Program, you release ShoppingNotes, Inc., its affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability with respect to all aspects of this Program, including but not limited to the gift cards you receive. You further agree, upon written request, to the use of your name, ShoppingNotes.com ID, city, and state of residence in a list of winners to the public for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.


• ShoppingNotes, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Program without further notice, should fraud or other causes beyond the control of ShoppingNotes, Inc. corrupt the administration of the Program.


• You agree to resolve all the disputes arising out of or in connection with this Program solely with ShoppingNotes, Inc. and to not bring the disputes to court or arbitration. In no events shall the sum of the total credits redeemed to you and the indemnity to you exceed the lesser of your actual out-of-pocket costs associated with your participation in this Program and US$100.
